Programma di Wellbeing And Tourism In Territorial Planning:

Tourism and sport, with objectives of physical well-being, are intimately linked. To this end, the tourist reception areas are now specifically designed and organized. Above all in terms of the creation of the necessary infrastructures, made with public funding but also with private investments. This is why both geography and geopolitics deal with it. The objective of this course is the introduction to the geographical reflection of tourism linked to wellness and what possible power relationships can be generated and can possibly be antagonists. We will understand what types of geographical transformations are triggered by this type of tourism activity, which is intimately linked to sustainability and the environment.

For ATTENDING students,  a test at the end of the course will be performed. These are two  questions with the possibility of an open answer. For each question the student will have 15 lines of space for the answer. The questions will concern the topics dealt in the part of the course completed. In this case, the grade will be from 27 to 30 if you answer all two questions correctly. From 23 to 26 if you answer (very well) at least one questions, from 18 to 22 if you answer only one question (les than 40% .  For NON-ATTENDING students there will be an oral exam on the texts indicated and available to download on Didattica web (the whole power point and all papers and all parts, not exception allowed!).  The oral exam will be assessed according to criteria of: i) competence in content, synthesis and analysis of themes and concepts relating to local geopolitics, territorial organization and planning, classifications and types of tourist products, analysis of documents and laws relating to the organization tourism in Italy and in the main countries. ii) ability to read, comment and analyze the texts analyzed in class; iii) ability to use a technical language appropriate to the subject.  The grade  will be expressed according to this orientation scheme:  - EXCELLENT (28-30): excellent ability to present and critical analysis of the texts of the texts addressed in class; excellent orientation skills in the topics addressed in class; excellent ability to use the specialized terminology of the discipline. - DISCREET (24-27): fair knowledge of the subject and of the texts dealt with in class; good synthesis and analysis skills; good ability to express and use the specialized terminology of the discipline. - SUFFICIENT (18-23): minimal knowledge of the exam material; limited capacity for synthesis and analysis; poor ability to use the specialized terminology of the discipline  - NEGATIVE (exam not passed): Lack of knowledge of the exam material and / or serious errors in understanding and displaying the contents; inability to summarize the main arguments; lack of knowledge of the specialized terminology of the discipline.
