- Prerequisiti: Basic scientific training, through which the student will be able to access and understand complex methodological and sectoral concepts. Good knowledge of the English language (understanding reading and writing).
- Obiettivi: LEARNING OUTCOMES: The Pharmacovigilance program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, evaluate, understand, prevent, and manage adverse drug effects, thus ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in clinical practice. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: The course aims to develop a solid understanding of the regulatory and scientific principles governing pharmacovigilance, fostering the ability to critically analyze safety data, report adverse reactions, and actively contribute to improving public health. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: Students will be able to concretely apply their acquired knowledge by interpreting data, managing adverse event reports, and collaborating in decision-making processes regarding drug safety at both the clinical and regulatory levels. MAKING JUDGEMENTS: Upon completion of the course, students will have acquired sound independent judgment, which is essential for critically evaluating adverse reaction reports, interpreting data from various sources, and making informed decisions regarding drug safety, demonstrating responsibility and ethical awareness in their professional field. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Students will develop effective communication skills to present and discuss drug safety data clearly and professionally. They will be able to adapt their language to the context and audience, promoting understanding and sharing of data relevant to drug safety. LEARNING SKILLS: Students will acquire the skills to continue independently developing their knowledge of pharmacovigilance. They will also be able to stay up-to-date on new regulations, reporting tools, and ADR management techniques. Finally, students will be able to identify authoritative sources, delve deeper into specific topics, and develop transversal skills useful in their professional and academic careers.
