The course will give the theoretical foundations and the operational competences required to analyze cultural and literary resources. It will cover the following issues:

•  Distant reading and cultural analytics theoretical and methodological rationales
•  Methods and tools for literary text mining 
•  Stylometry and text comparison
•  Topic modelling and word embedding
•  Network analisys
•  Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence
