Lingua Inglese 2 A | Docente: Sandra Petroni L'INGLESE PER SCOPI SPECIALI: IMPLICAZIONI TEORICHE E PRATICHE

Il modulo sarà dedicato allo studio delle diverse peculiarità del discorso specialistico, al fine di stabilirne il livello di specificità e diversità, mettendolo a confronto con il linguaggio generale. Verrà chiarito il concetto stesso di linguaggio specialistico e verranno esaminate le principali caratteristiche lessicali, morfo-sintattiche e testuali.

 Modalità dell’esame:

L’esame è orale e si svolge in  lingua inglese. La valutazione include, oltre alla discussione della parte monografica  del corso, anche la qualità generale della conoscenza della lingua inglese in termini di, pronuncia, correttezza morfosintattica e ricchezza e appropriatezza del lessico.

 Language Course :

  Essentially the aim of this course is to direct students to an international environment with a global focus. The course has a topic-based multistrand syllabus which includes comprehensive work on grammar, vocabulary through contextualisation, and pronunciation.  Strong emphasis is placed on reading ( real-life sources), listening and oral skills. Students will be required to prepare oral tasks and short presentations in class.  This to challenge students to develop powers of expression and analysis.

Cotton, D., Falvey, D., Kent, S.,  Language Leader,  Upper Intermediate, Pearson Longman Publishers, Coursebook and workbook with key.

 - Recommended Materials: 

Oxford Advanced Learner Dictionary with CD.

 

 Written Exam:

The written exam has three components:

Section 1:  Two listening exercises with either gap filling or multiple choice.

Section 2:  Structure and vocabulary.

Section 3:  Reading comprehensions (either two or three depending on the length),  multiple choice answers and  written answers.

LA COMUNICAZIONE MEDIATA DAL COMPUTER: IL RUOLO DELLA LINGUA INGLESE

In questo modulo verranno analizzate: la portata dell'impatto che Internet sta avendo sulla lingua, come la rete si è evoluta in quanto mezzo e come il modello ipertestuale ha, di fatto, dato origine a diverse forme di interazione. Inoltre sarà esaminata la diffusione che la lingua inglese, intesa come lingua franca, ha avuto in Internet. Ma ancor prima di procedere con l'analisi dei suddetti argomenti, sarà necessario distinguere fra i concetti di lingua dell'informatica e lingua della rete (Netspeak).
