Structural Engineering: A British Perspective 2015/2016

Il ciclo è offerto agli studenti di Ingegneria edile-architettura in due moduli da 3 CFU (o intero da 10 CFU).

I moduli saranno dedicati a:

1 - Iron and the birth of modern structural engineering

The lectures will cover the introduction of iron into building construction in Britain and how this influenced progress in structural engineering.

2 - The structural engineer’s contribution to contemporary architecture

The lectures will present a number of case studies of buildings designed by British structural engineers including conservation of existing building structures.
