1. Please download and read the article of research on gossip.2. Read the sections on the four functions of gossip - "information exchange", "entertainment", "friendship", "influence/policing" and extract the main articles and points which researchers have made about each of them
3. Download the "Functions of gossip" table. For each section, fill in the "functions of gossip" table with:
a) author/date
b)what was studied
c) the main point/result of the study.
Please bring it to the lesson next Monday 22.
