This week (19 and 21 March) I want to talk about gossip in literature. Most of you have decided what to do for your projects but some are still a little unsure, so looking at gossip in literature may give you some new ideas. It might also interest you if you are thinking of doing a thesis on this subject. So please read pdf3 before the Monday lesson. It discusses an interesting theory about how reading literature is a bit like gossiping.
