Prerequisiti: A basic course covering analysis and control of linear systems.
Obiettivi: This course reviews the linear control techniques while introducing sensitivity functions to evaluate the robustness of the control loop. Nonlinear control techniques are presented as well. Several models of mechanical and electromechanical systems are discussed and used to design the controls, while carrying out Matlab-Simulink simulations. The final exam consists on a written part and on an oral part concerning the discussion of the projects proposed during the classes.
