Obiettivi: - Standards and safety data sheets in a chemical laboratory; prevention of laboratory risks; PPE, equipment, and safety and emergency signs; - Theoretical aspects of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry, acid-base equilibria (definition of acid and base, fundamental equations for studying chemical equilibria, calculation of the pH of strong and weak acids and bases, buffer solutions), spectroscopic techniques, and chromatographic separations. Application to the analysis of pharmaceutical ingredients, assays to determine their purity, and analysis of pharmaceutical preparations, according to the European Pharmacopoeia.
