Obiettivi: The nanotechnology course will focus on mechatronic technologies at micro and nanoscale. The course provides a background of nanotechnology with a special emphasis on design, fabrication and characterization of micro and nanometer components and systems. The course will also discuss specific applications of nanotechnology in mechanic, electronic, energy and biomedical fields. These applications will solicited a discussion on problems related to miniaturization of conventional devices and systems and on the opportunities offered by the consolidated and emerging nanotechnologies. Lab characterizations and MATLAB simulation will be part of the course.
