Prerequisiti: Knowledge of the main emission mechanisms in the astrophysical context.
Obiettivi: The basic concepts concerning the Astrophysics of High Energies will be given. In particular the following topics will be covered: 1) the rise and development of High Energy Astrophysics, the final stages of stellar evolution and the degeneracy pressure of electrons and neutrons, radio pulsars, accretion onto compact objects in binary systems, the phenomenology of the different classes of X-ray binaries.
