Obiettivi: MOD. 1 The importance of pharmacovigilance (PV) for safe medicines and their safe use has increasingly been recognised during the last few years. This course will cover the EU pharmacovigilance and takes into account the principles set out in EU pharmacovigilance legislation and guidelines on good pharmacovigilance practices and covers key training areas and competences related to the operation of pharmacovigilance in the EU network. MOD. 2 The course will introduce students to health technology assessment and market access regulation. The teaching activity will be delivered through interactive lectures aimed at stimulating student participation. The lectures will be supported by slide presentations, case studies and reading of scientific articles. The main objective of the course is to provide the essential elements to understand the role and methods of health technology assessment, with particular attention to economic evaluation techniques. A further objective is to provide an overview of industrial policies in the health sector, both at national and international level, as well as the role assumed by regulation in the process of health technologies market access
