- Prerequisiti: Basic knowledge of Physics and Applied Economics. The course also presupposes a basic knowledge of Renewable Sources.
- Obiettivi: The course provides students with the fundamental skills to understand, apply and evaluate the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method as a tool for analyzing the environmental sustainability of complex products, processes and systems. Through the acquisition of the theoretical and methodological foundations of LCA, students will be able to structure comprehensive life cycle studies, critically interpret them and apply them to concrete cases. The photovoltaic sector will be used as an application example for LCA analysis, treated as a case study.
