Obiettivi: LEARNING OUTCOMES: The course aims to provide students with an integrated and translational overview of the scientific, technological, and regulatory principles underlying the design and development of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: Students will gain knowledge of antibody structure and function, target selection and validation, antibody discovery platforms, and preclinical and clinical development strategies. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: Students will be able to critically analyze antibody development programs and propose appropriate engineering and development strategies. MAKING JUDGEMENTS: Students will develop critical evaluation skills for interpreting preclinical and clinical data related to antibody-based therapies. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Students will be able to communicate scientific concepts and development strategies using appropriate technical language.
