- Obiettivi: Understand the fundamental mechanisms of allergic, immunological, and autoimmune diseases, including hypersensitivity reactions, immune dysregulation, and chronic inflammation. Recognize the clinical presentation of major allergic and rheumatologic conditions (e.g., asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, anaphylaxis, autoimmune connective tissue diseases, vasculitis). Perform an appropriate clinical evaluation, including history-taking focused on allergic and immunorheumatologic symptoms and physical examination of the respiratory system, skin, and musculoskeletal system. Interpret basic diagnostic tests, such as skin prick tests, serum IgE, inflammatory markers, autoimmune serology, and imaging relevant to immunorheumatologic disorders. Identify red flags and emergency situations, such as anaphylaxis or rapidly progressive immunorheumatologic disease, and know the first steps in management and referral. Understand principles of pharmacological treatment, including antihistamines, corticosteroids, immunomodulators, biologics, and disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs). Apply prevention strategies, including allergen avoidance, patient education, and vaccination recommendations in immunological and rheumatologic disorders. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care approach, recognizing when to refer patients to specialists in allergology, immunology, or rheumatology.
