  • Prerequisiti: Basic knowledge of European art history, particularly from the 19th and 20th centuries; Basic knowledge of museology and museography.
  • Obiettivi: Upon completing the course, students will be familiar with the main case studies (e.g., exhibitions and curatorial events) discussed in class and they will gain an understanding of the processes and professions involved in art exhibitions. Moreover, students will develop an independent approach to curatorial practice and its current challenges. They will learn to critically examine future exhibition projects by evaluating their critical issues, social impact, and public reception and by analyzing the socio-cultural and historical-artistic contexts of these projects on a case-by-case basis. Finally, students will conduct in-depth research related to course topics and they will be able to critically review the course topics in a clear and effective manner.
