- Obiettivi: LEARNING OUTCOMES:
The aim of the course is to introduce the student to the study of Semitic epigraphy, and Phoenician-Punic epigraphy in particular.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
Students should have the basics to undertake a more advanced path in Semitistics.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
Students, by a methodological approach, should be able to apply knowledge and understanding skills by showing a professional approach to their work and possess adequate skills both to devise and support arguments and to solve problems in their field of study
MAKING JUDGEMENTS:
Students should be able to address the problems related to Phoenician-Punic civilization by having a critical approach to studies
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
As a result of the skills learnt, students should be able to interact with other professionals, including non-specialists, in order to have a proactive approach for the solution of problems that should arise in the within of the own activity.
LEARNING SKILLS:
Students should have formed a basic knowledge of historical and archaeological events in order to carry out higher level studies.
