  • Obiettivi: LEARNING OUTCOMES: At the end of the course students will be able to reason about the choices that different jurisdictions make in relation to the regulation of intellectual property, patent, trademark and geoghraphical indications for the protection of Cultural Heritage and the support of Tourism Strategy. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: Students will be aware of the fundamental comparative and international law issues, in intellectual property, patent, trademark, copyright and geographical indications. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: Students, with the real case presentations, will explore how intellectual property, patent, trademark and geographical indications are managed individually and collectively. MAKING JUDGEMENTS: Students will be able to identify legal issues in actual or hypothetical cases and to apply the different rules to them. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Students will discuss the application of the different rules to hypothetical and actual cases both in class and in a paper LEARNING SKILLS: Students will master the research tools and materials to improve oral and written communication skills through legal writing and argumentation.
