- Obiettivi: Insights into guided propagation, microwave circuits, and passive microwave devices. The student will gain basic knowledge on the theory of transmission lines, waveguides and the use of Smith's chart. The student will be able to solve simple line adaptation problems. He have to be familiar with the representation of circuital elements by impedance, admittance and diffusion matrices. He will gain knowledge of most commons passive components used in microwaves circuits (attenuators, phase shifters, directional coupling, power partitions, isolators, etc)
