Obiettivi: The course aims to provide the student with the main tools necessary to deal with one-variable functions. Knowledge and understanding: By the end of the course, the student will have a sound knowledge and grasp of the subject. Applying knowledge and understanding: By the end of the course, the student will be able to apply the techniques introduced throughout the course to tackle a variety of mathematical problems, including more concrete applications. Making judgements: The student is expected to be able to understand how difficult a given problem, not necessarily coming from mathematics, may turn out to be so as to to work out a strategy autonomously.
