- Prerequisiti: Students are expected to have a B1 - low B2 level of English.
- Obiettivi: The aim of this course is to provide 1st year students of the BA degree in Engineering Sciences with the basic language tools needed to attend a University degree in English. The syllabus will focus on 1) consolidating key grammar aspects at an intermediate level 2) give students throughout speaking practice 3) enable students to develop their writing skills especially in the context of formal writing. By the end of the course, students should 1) be more comfortable and fluent in the use of English, 2) be more accurate in their speaking and writing 3) be aware of the conventions applied to formal writing.
