Fundamentals of Italian Philology – The Rhymes of Guido Cavalcanti       Plan   The course aims to introduce students to Italian philology. In the first part of the course, the fundamental notions, areas and methods of text criticism will be examined (manuscript philology; single-testimonial and multi-testimonial editions; Lachmann's method; philology of printed texts; author's philology; attributive philology; tools computer scientists and digital philology). The second part of the course will be dedicated to reading and analyzing the rhymes of Guido Cavalcanti and other stilnovists.       Bibliography
