TECHNOLOGIES APPLIED TO THE STUDY AND CATALOGUING OF THE PERFORMING ARTS

TITLE: "From the creative process to cultural legacy: documentary ecosystems, web platforms, virtual museums for cultural heritage and the performing arts".

The first part of the course focuses on the problem of preserving and enhancing the intangible cultural heritage, presenting and examining the different solutions for safeguarding the cultural heritage of the performing arts, which have been adopted at museums, galleries and foundations, nationally and internationally. The second part of the course presents and explores the new frontiers of digital. On the one hand, scholars of theater, visual arts and literature try to reconstruct the creative process of the playwright, artist, actor and director through digitized materials and documents. On the other hand, they experiment through documentary eco_systems, virtual museums in augmented reality and interactive platforms how to preserve intangible cultural heritage.
