BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Experimental physicist in Applied Physics with a background in experimental nuclear physics. Research interests include: measurements of nuclear fragmentation cross-section of mediumlight ions such as those that abound most in our organism (Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen), for which experimental measurements are absent in the energy range used in hadrontherapy (100- 400 MeV/nucleon) with applications to medical physics and radiation protection; development of instrumentation for neutron detection and for imaging applications; characterization of nuclear fusion components (EUROfusion, European Consortium for the Development of Fusion Energy - work package “Divertor”, WPDIV) with neutron and X-ray experimental techniques.
